課程概述 |
Fundamentals of Physics (B) is a full semester course of General physics at the freshman level for medical student. Contents : The Laws of Motion, Circular Motion, Momentum and Energy, Angular Momentum and Torque, Mechanical Oscillators, Force Modulation,Fluid Mechanics, Wave motion, Acoustics, Thermal Physics and Entropy, Electromagnetism, Optics, Modern physics, Nano-biomedicals ... |
課程目標 |
This course is to enrich the standard freshman physics for medical students in the context of interdisciplinary topics of modern medicals and related technologies, such as EEG, fMRI, Ultrasound imaging, quantum-optic spectroscopy,,nanobio-magnetics, nuclear medicine, etc. |
課程要求 |
The course combines lectures, assigned readings, web based physics resources and hands-on demonstration to convey a select subset of physical principles. The assignments and quantitative problems are assigned to students to enrich the understanding of physics concept. There will be pre-tests using IRS in classroom. |
